Advent Lessons and Carols

The Festival of Lessons and Carols tells the story of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus in several short Bible readings from Genesis, the prophetic books and the Gospels, interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols, hymns and choir music. It is traditionally a part of the service of Holy Eucharist, and will be sung at both the 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services.
