St. Matthew’s organ is a three manual Rogers 950 classic. It is a hybrid, having two ranks of pipes with electronics. The electronics provide the sounds of more than thirty additional ranks of pipes. It has antiphonal speakers which optimize the trumpet stop. This instrument is enhanced by the acoustically satisfying sanctuary.
The main courtyard, filled with flowering plants (and a Flowered Cross on Easter Sunday). Paving bricks were part of a fundraiser in the early 2000’s. This courtyard includes an outside altar for special events such as a palm burning, and Evening of Remembrance. This is one of St. Matt’s primary spaces for fellowship.
Meditation Garden with prayer plaques is an Eagle Scout project, completed by a parishioner and his Boy Scout troopmates.
Our pavilion was designed and built through the leadership of the Brotherhood. This structure was completed in 2021, and used to hold our first post-epidemic communal service, Easter Sunrise.
Recently refurbished and a “work in progress”, our Undercroft space is used primarily for youth meetings and events, but also used for other purposes, such as this “Intergenerational Vacation Bible School”. It has a kitchen, meeting spaces, rest rooms, and of course, wifi.
