GreatLitany15 2/22/2015 Bulletin With Announcements
By popular demand the Outreach Committee will have Easter baskets available to pick up after the services beginning February 22nd to generously fill with your blessings, love and goodies. They will include instructions, a cellophane bag, ribbon, tag & suggestions. There are always many baskets filled for younger children and teen girls so maybe this year you can consider filling a basket for a teen boy. Please bring the baskets you so generously fill back to the entrance to parish hall by Sunday March 8th for delivery. Questions? Check the Outreach bulletin board or contact Cheryl Wheeler @ email@example.com.
THE BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS COMMITTEE is organizing a St. Matt’s parish work day Saturday, March 28 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided. There will be jobs of all sizes, both inside and out; grounds clean-up, planting, organizing, minor carpentry, cleaning and building repairs just to name a few. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the hallway.
Note: If you can’t be here on the 28th feel free to sign up for a job of your choosing to be completed by April 5.
Many hands make light work!
THE NEWCOMER AND FELLOWSHIP committees would like to invite you to the newcomers luncheon to be held on March 1 after the 10:30 service. We hope you will bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share as the meat and drinks will be provided.
Please sign up on the bulletin board across from the church office by February 22.
To highlight World Mission Sunday, celebrated by the entire Episcopal Church on February 15, your Global Mission Committee is sponsoring its Annual Global Breakfast. Please come, and if you can, bring a dish to share from your culture. If you would like to, dress in the cultural attire of your heritage- or a heritage of your choice. Cards and sharpies will be available so that you can identify your food contribution and its country of origin.
Contact Gini Peterson for more details.
